Mixed Use Scheme The Promenade, Penzance

The proposal is for the demolition of a semi-dilapidated and un-marketable restaurant and replacement with a ground floor restaurant / bar and three floors of two holiday lets on each with an attic storey as a private apartment

The design proposal were designed to improve the streetscape and the attractiveness of the town and give reference to the true historic character of Wherrytown. The ground floor is designed to give vitality to the street scene along this area of vacant promenade.

House Renovations and Extensions


Extensions and Renovations to a Listed Building. The scheme has includes major internal alterations to maximise the use of the spaces with extensions.

Chartham Barn Private Residence

The project was completed in seven weeks using traditional barn raising techniques  but was upgraded to achieve insulation requirements. The building construction and finishes were mainly rough timber, with only the ground floor ceilings in plasterwork. The preparation of for the project, the total design of the structure, finishes and construction procedures  resulted in the project been held below the client’s budget.

Alverton, Penzance


Alverton is the change of use and conversion from the existing Grade II Listed doctors surgery, Alverton Surgery, to residential use including associated internal and external alterations, modernisation, necessary repairs and a rear extension replacing the existing rear extension and reinstatement of original features.
