Slate House is the conversion of a Listed cattle barn built at the turn of the Century. The project involved extensive and sensitive refurbishment to form three dwellings with associated parking and amenities.
The scheme addressed the constraints and opportunities to retain the character of the existing building by restoring the historic fabric and rationalizing the existing building cluster and to create the maximize development opportunity.
Converted into 3 dwellings set over 3 floors. The floor plans are inverted to enable views over the orchards to the Parish Church from the main living areas at first floors with upper galleries overlooking the double height living areas and bedrooms at ground floor.
